Like many North Korean refugees, Miso sends money and information back to her family in North Korea. This secures their well-being and helps them gain autonomy from the regime. Together, North Koreans are transforming their country from the inside and out!

When he escaped North Korea, Harry had to leave behind his loved ones at a moment’s notice. The support of his new friends in South Korea is now what gives him strength to share his story as an Advocacy Fellow, speaking about this issue to audiences around the world.

Seohyun and her family fled North Korea with ambitions to change the system and bring freedom to the North Korean people. She’s now attending graduate school at Columbia University and plans to use what she learns to advocate for this issue.
