To maximize the impact we can make with limited resources, we use AI to support internal workflows, including research, content structuring, translation, drafting select materials, and editing. All AI-assisted outputs are carefully reviewed and verified by our team to ensure accuracy, preserve voice and intent, and maintain human judgment, particularly in storytelling or sensitive contexts. We do not use AI to simulate or independently generate firsthand experiences or refugee stories. AI is also never used to alter, paraphrase, or replace direct quotes from individuals we work with; all edits, translations, and final outputs in these contexts are completed by staff. When we use AI to generate images that are photo-like or could reasonably be mistaken for real photographs, we clearly label them as AI-generated. We also apply strict safeguards, such as accuracy checks, privacy protections, and subject-matter review, to ensure that any content we share aligns with our values and reflects our responsibility to the people we work alongside.
