Travel with LiNK to South Korea

When you join the Liberty Community or upgrade your current monthly gift before the end of the year, you’ll be entered to win a spot on LiNK’s Spring 2026 Vision Trip! This immersive four-day journey to South Korea offers an opportunity to witness the impact of your support firsthand, connect with North Korean-born changemakers, and deepen your understanding of the evolving North Korea issue.

The winner will be chosen and contacted by January 17, 2025.

Trip Highlights
On this trip we will:
  • Build community with fellow donors, staff, and supporters
  • Reunite with past LiNK gala speakers and Advocacy Fellows
  • Engage with LiNK’s programs and get to know program participants
  • Learn more about LiNK’s information access programs
  • Gain insider insights and expert analysis on current developments inside North Korea
  • Hear live pitches from North Korean activists advancing bold solutions on the issue
  • Meet North Korean activists, entrepreneurs, and changemakers
  • Visit the North Korea–South Korea border together with North Korean friends
Eligibility
  • The winner must be a new monthly donor who signs up at $10/month or more and gives for the duration of one year or more OR a current monthly donor who upgrades their monthly giving amount by at least $5/month for the duration of one year or more
  • The sign up or upgrade must have occurred between September 9, 2025 to December 31, 2025
  • The winner must be 18 years or older
  • The winner must be available for the following dates: March 11 – March 16, 2026
  • The winner must respond to LiNK by January 31, 2026 otherwise the prize will be forfeited
  • The winner must be based in the United States 
Expenses Covered by LiNK
  • Three scheduled meals per day (March 12-15)
  • Private ground transportation in Seoul to and from the hotel and scheduled trip experiences
  • All programming, admission, and activity fees
  • Site visits and curated workshops
  • On-site group coordination and logistics
  • International airfare (from a US city to Seoul and return flight)
  • Hotel accommodations
  • Transportation to/from Incheon International Airport (ICN)
Expenses Not Covered by LiNK
  • Personal spending (souvenirs, snacks, etc)
  • Optional excursions or upgrades
  • Passport fees or renewal costs
  • Medical/vaccine requirements
Please note: This scholarship may be renewed on an annual basis by completing the scholarship application in full. Renewal applications will be reviewed alongside first-time applicants. Applicants cannot apply for LiNK's Changemaker Scholarship at the same time.
